In the spirit of appreciation, we’ve been busy cooking up some exciting new features to make your Ply experience even better.

Serialized Materials to Better Track Warranty and Rebates

Ready to enhance material and warranty tracking? You can now add serial numbers to materials and allocate them directly to jobs. Create unique serial numbered materials and track their inventory status, consumption on job, and be able to report on them when you need to

Improved and Faster Search for Web and Mobile

Talk about an update! We’ve enhanced our search functionality to support partial keyword searches for materials, not just exact matches. This makes it faster and easier to discover materials both in the warehouse and out in the field, helping you find what you need in no time. 

Mobile Material List Build to Take Bulk Actions

No more scanning items one by one. Now, you can scan multiple barcodes at once to create a cart, transfer, generate a picklist, replenish, or consume items in bulk with one click. Check it out here!

Deduct Materials While In Jobber from the Assigned Location

Ply now offers bi-directional integration with Jobber invoices. Add materials or adjust quantities in an invoice within Jobber, and the changes will automatically update in your assigned tech or default warehouse or truck. This feature allows techs in the field to maintain an accurate inventory count of their truck without ever having to be in Ply.

To enable this feature ensure you have a Jobber account connected with Ply and then go into user management under settings to select the default location per tech.

What we’re working on now

1. Housecall Pro Pricebook Integration: next release you’ll be able to connect your pricebook with Ply and keep all your inventory data insync.
2. Automated Pricebook Builder: Enables you to build your own pricebooks from integrated sources.
3. Deep Integration to FSMs: Provides improvements to newly released integrations and added webhook support.
4. Notification Center: Helps you stay on top of what actions to take or have been taken across Ply.
5. Cycle Count Mode: Lets you schedule cycle counts for your warehouses and fleet to update inventory.
6. Units of Measurement Expansion: Provides added support for a number of units of measurements to refine material attributes.
